Agricultural Bonus will promote diversification by supporting more than 560,000 national producers

The Government of President Nayib Bukele presents the Agricultural Bonus, responding to the needs of more than half a million subsistence producers. The Agricultural Bonus is a $75 card for beneficiaries to purchase agricultural inputs at any of the agroservices authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock throughout the national territory.

“The Agricultural Bonus represents the evolution of the traditional agricultural package that was used to be delivered; With this, we open the doors towards the diversification of crops,” explained Vice Minister Óscar Domínguez.

There are more than half a million subsistence producers registered in the Single Registry of Beneficiaries who will receive the Agricultural Bonus card and will have 60 days to make the exchange in a single transaction.

Farmers will be able to purchase corn, bean and vegetable seeds, granular and foliar fertilizers, insecticides, herbicides, among others.

Producers can consult through 2210-1714 and the website to verify the date and place where they will receive the Agricultural Bonus.

Delivery will begin on May 13 in the western zone, which includes the departments of Ahuachapán, Santa Ana and Sonsonate; Afterwards, distribution will be expanded to the other regions, culminating in one month.

The Agricultural Bonus is non-transferable, so the beneficiary must present their DUI to collect the card and when cashing it in the agricultural services authorized by the MAG. If you have any questions, farmers can call 2210-1714.
