The Nuevas Ideas party celebrated the electoral victory and the delivery of the certification of the results of the presidential elections of last February 4, which confirmed Nayib Bukele as the winner of the presidency of the republic to exercise his mandate in the five-year period from February 1 June 1, 2024 to June 1, 2029.

The president of the Cyan party, Xavi Zablah, also celebrated Nayib Bukele’s victory and applauded the delivery of the certification of the results. “May God continue to guide you, leader Nayib Bukele,” he wrote on the social network X.
For his part, the president shared photos and videos of the certification ceremony that took place at the National Theater on social networks, where hundreds of people gathered and were greeted by the president at the end of the official event.

In statements to the media, Ulloa expressed that together with Nayib Bukele “we are here to revive El Salvador” in the next five years.
“It is the crowning of a totally democratic, participatory process in which the people have massively and spontaneously expressed the will for President Bukele to continue directing the destinies of our country,” said the vice-governor in relation to the ceremony of presentation of credentials. .
Unlike previous electoral processes, on February 4, the Salvadoran diaspora played a leading role, because they were able to exercise their right to vote through the new in-person and remote electronic voting over the internet.
“We want to infinitely thank our people and especially our entire diaspora who turned out massively with more than 330,000 votes to say that President Bukele must continue leading this country,” added Ulloa, and announced that in the next five years the Executive It will focus on achieving “economic takeoff” of the country, since the gangs were already defeated during the first presidential term.
The certification of the election results is the prelude to the solemn inauguration ceremony of Nayib Bukele and Félix Ulloa as president and vice president of the republic, respectively, which will be held on June 1.
The inauguration of the current government administration took place in front of the National Palace, in the Historic Center of San Salvador, in front of which thousands of people gathered last February 4 at night, to celebrate Nayib Bukele’s triumph and listen his victory speech.
