It turns out that people who constantly undergo plastic surgery are not satisfied with their bodies. Experts say that up to 40 percent of plastic surgery patients are satisfied with their new bodies. The underlying cause is self-pity, resentment, and social media.

Publika.az reports that in recent days in Turkey, when discussing the situation of beauty center owners, it was said that more than 60 percent of those who underwent plastic surgery were not satisfied with their new appearance.

Experts say that depression after plastic surgery is common and the underlying cause is self-pity, dissatisfaction and lack of content on social media.

Along with the rise in social media use, it’s no surprise that there has been an increase in the number of young women getting plastic surgery. Additionally, sharing “skinny” or “muscular” bodies on social media accounts leads to the adoption of an unrealistic standard of beauty.
