New Delhi (Vishvas News). A video of a woman is being shared on social media claiming that she is Chhattisgarh’s SDM Nikita Singh, who has donated her land to build a mosque and also offered Namaz at that place.
Vishvas News in its investigation found that the claim being made regarding the viral video is false. The woman seen in the video is Vidadala Rajini, a leader of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSR). Rajini is the Minister of Health, Family Welfare and Medical Education of Andhra Pradesh. Our investigation revealed that there is no SDM by name Nikita Singh in Chhattisgarh.

Facebook user Umardin Khan Alwar shared the video on 5 May 2024. It is written on the video, Chhattisgarh’s SDM Nikita Singh gave a place for the mosque and also got namaz offered at that place. A beautiful example of love in an environment full of hatred.

investigation
To know the truth of the viral video, we extracted several keyframes of the video with the help of Invid tool and searched them through Google reverse image. We found the report related to the viral video (archive link) on a Telugu YouTube channel named 4th tv news. The video was uploaded on 9 April 2024. According to available information, the woman seen in the video is Andhra Pradesh Minister Vidadala Rajini, who had come to attend the Iftari party.
Based on the information received, we searched on Google with the help of related keywords. Vidadala Rajini’s social media accounts (archive link) Found. According to available information, Vidadala Rajini is associated with YSR Party of Andhra Pradesh. Rajini is the Minister of Health, Family Welfare and Medical Education of Andhra Pradesh.
We started scanning Rajni’s social media accounts. us viral Video Found uploaded on Rajni’s official Instagram account on 6 April 2024. We also found several pictures related to the video uploaded. According to available information, she had come to participate in the Iftar party organized in Nagarampalem, Pattabhipuram and Gujjanagundla.
Taking the investigation forward, we started searching about Chhattisgarh SDM Nikita Singh. We did not find any reports related to the claim. During the search, we did not find any information about any officer by the name of SDM Nikita Singh.
For more information we contacted Chhattisgarh district in-charge Sandeep Tiwari. He told us that no such case has come to light here. This video is not from here. The location seen in the video is also quite different from here.
We have contacted Vidadala Rajini via mail. The story will be updated when the reply comes.
Finally, we scanned the account of the user who shared the video with the false claim. We found that the user is followed by 24 thousand people. The user has described himself as a resident of Delhi on his profile.
