Yemen – Houthi media reported, on Monday, that 3 air strikes targeted the Ras Issa area in Hodeidah Governorate, western Yemen.

She said, quoting her correspondents in Hodeidah, “An American-British aggression targeted the Ras Issa area in Al-Salif District with three raids.”

The sources did not reveal any damage resulting from the raids.

This comes as the British Maritime Trade Operations Authority reported today, Monday, that a report was received about an incident 71 nautical miles southwest of Al-Salif, Yemen.

The sources said that the ship, whose name was not mentioned, was attacked 71 nautical miles southwest of Saleef in Yemen at approximately 10:06 a.m. UTC.

“The authorities are conducting an investigation,” it stated, advising ships to cross with caution and to report any suspicious activity.

The Houthi group targets cargo ships in the Red Sea owned and operated by Israeli companies that transport goods to and from Israel, in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza, while the United States and its allies, “in response,” formed a military force to deal with the Houthi strikes.

American and British aircraft launched several strikes on various areas in Yemen, while the American army sometimes carried out separate missions.

The Houthi group said earlier that Washington and London bear the repercussions of the “militarization” of the Red Sea, stressing that targeting Israeli ships or those heading to Israel aims to pressure an end to the war on Gaza.
