Xiaomi presented today, January 23, in a regional media event, the Redmi Note 13 series, which includes five new devices: Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi Note 13 5G and Redmi Note 13.
In addition to smartphones, three other AIoT products are available in Romania: Redmi Watch 4, Redmi Buds 5 Pro and Redmi Buds 5.
200MP and 108MP cameras
The Redmi Note 13 series comes with a versatile and updated camera system. The Pro models, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro, are equipped with a 200 MP ultra-high resolution camera with optical image stabilization (OIS).
The 2x/4x lossless zoom provides details at a distance and gives users the ability to focus on details or get closer to the action.
These camera systems are supported by a large 1/1.4″ sensor and improved image processing, ensuring image quality even in complex and low-light conditions. The combination of this sensor, an f/1.65 and Tetra2 pixels (advanced pixel binning technology) delivers sharp, bright images even in low-light conditions, while the 7P atomic layer deposition (ALD) lens reduces flare and ghosting.
The base models, Redmi Note 13 5G and Redmi Note 13, come with a 108 MP main camera with 3x zoom for images with finer details. Both smartphones also come with a wide selection of filters to personalize users’ photos.
With a triple camera setup consisting of a 200MP or 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera, as well as a 16MP selfie camera, all these devices are powered by Xiaomi Imaging Engine. Each device offers next-generation computational photography and powerful image processing.
Nice AMOLED display and refresh rate up to 120Hz
Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G have a 1.5K AMOLED display and a maximum brightness of 1800 nits. Meanwhile, Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi Note 13 5G and Redmi Note 13 have an FHD+ AMOLED display.
Each device in the Redmi Note 13 series has a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Redmi Note 13 series devices are TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light, Flicker Free and Circadian Friendly certified. Additionally, they include various eye protection features such as reading mode. Other improvements include the first addition of an in-display fingerprint sensor in this series.
Durability
With improvements in engineering and design, the Redmi Note 13 series offers durability and resistance even in harsh conditions. We start from the display, which introduces Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G – another new addition to the series – for greater resistance to accidental falls and scratches. The display has also been further optimized across the range to ensure it is responsive and precise in tactile interactions, even in the rain.
With an improved build combined with an IP682 dust and water resistance certification, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G strengthens its position as the flagship model in the series, while the rest of the models also guarantee IP54 dust and splash resistance.
Hardware
For the first time, a 4nm production process has been introduced in Redmi Note smartphones. The main model of the series, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset, a 5,000mAh battery and offers 120W HyperCharge charging, which allows Redmi Note to charge up to 100% in just 19 minutes.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G features the largest capacity battery in the series, 5,100 mAh, and is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 mobile platform, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro comes with a MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra chipset and a battery from 5,000 mAh. Both offer 67W Turbo charging and charging to 100% takes 45 minutes.
The base models also come with a durable 5,000 mAh battery5 and powerful chipsets. All models of the Redmi Note 13 series come with a charger included in the box for added convenience.
To celebrate the arrival of the Redmi Note 13 series on international markets, Xiaomi joins the “Red Bull Can You Make It?” campaign. as a global partner, renewing the collaboration with Red Bull and positioning the popular Redmi Note 13 range as an integral part of the campaign.
Xiaomi also announces three new devices in the wearable range: Redmi Watch 4, Redmi Buds 5 Pro and Redmi Buds 5.
Redmi Watch 4
The new Redmi Watch 4 is equipped with a 1.97″ AMOLED display. This new edition is also Redmi’s largest square-format smartwatch. The design of the Redmi Watch 4 incorporates an aluminum alloy frame and is the first Redmi smartwatch with an OTS stainless steel rotating crown. For even greater convenience, Redmi Watch 4 has a brand new quick release mechanism for changing straps.
Redmi Watch 4 features a four-channel PPG sensor for monitoring heart rate and blood oxygen saturation. Users have more than 150 sports modes at their disposal, including six automatically recognized activities. Advanced features include Bluetooth calling that allows users to answer calls. The device is available with an obsidian black or silver gray bezel, as well as a matching band, or with your choice of pastel purple, dark cyan or mint green colored bands.
Redmi Buds 5 Pro
Redmi Buds 5 Pro supports LDAC, the best Bluetooth codec for wireless headphone connectivity. With active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 52 dB12, Redmi Buds 5 Pro offers a choice of three ANC modes, an adaptive AI mode and three additional transparency modes.
Users can customize their audio experience with five different EQ profiles. The Redmi Buds 5 Pro support up to 10 hours of continuous playback and up to 38 hours of constant use when secured in their ergonomic case. The Redmi Buds 5 Pro are available in Midnight Black and Aurora Purple colors.
Redmi Buds 5
The headphones feature ANC up to 46 dB with three modes that cover a wide range of background noise. The three transparency modes allow users to hear more of what they want and less of what they don’t want.
The Redmi Buds 5 support up to 10 hours of continuous playback and up to 40 hours of use when paired with the charging case. These headphones are available in three colors: black, white or light blue. The case features a matte exterior and a glossy interior with an attractive light stripe design.
The Redmi Buds 5 series supports the use of the Xiaomi Earbuds app, which is compatible with a variety of smartphone brands. With this app you can experience personalized noise cancellation, intelligent ambient noise cancellation, personalized equalization adjustment, etc.

Furthermore, users who purchase Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 13 5G or Redmi Note 13 between January 23 and February 23, 2024 from any authorized sales partner, online or offline, in Romania and activated on the territory of Romania, they will be entitled to a free repair service at the local Xiaomi Assistance Center.
The service is available within the first six months of purchase if the product screen is damaged or damaged by an inadvertent action by the consumer, such as an accidental fall. Screen repair (or screen replacement, if necessary) will be free.
