The Bucks have three home games against the Cleveland Cavaliers (twice) and New Orleans Pelicans before embarking on a five-game road trip. ESPN reports that former assistant Joe Prunty will serve as interim coach, but the Bucks management may soon find a new coach and will be looking for a well-known veteran: at the top of the list is Doc Rivers, who won the title with by the Celtics in 2008, but was fired by the Philadelphia 76ers during the season after the last one.
It was the 49-year-old Griffin’s first experience as a head coach. He began his coaching career directly as an assistant with the Milwaukee Bucks, working with the team from 2008 to 2010, before also assisting the head coaches of the Chicago Bulls, Orlando Magic, Oklahoma State Thunder and Toronto Raptors and in 2019 he helped the “Raptors” win the title. He replaced Mike Budenholzer as manager of the Bucks.
The undisputed leading duo of “Bucks” is Yannis Adetokunbo (average 31.2p, 11.5ab, 6.1rp, 1.4pb, 1.bm, 3.6kl) and Damien Lillard (25.3p, 6.9rp, 4.4ab, 1.1pb, 2.4 cl ), but the third most productive on the team is Chris Middleton (14.7p, 4.9rp, 4.2ab, 2.1cl).
