– What will be the next goal of “Sabail”?
– I stand behind the word. I said that a lot depends on our being in the first part of the championship. I can say for sure that we will make a ready team that plays for European cups. If there is a chance, we will make the most of it.
– For Sahin Diniyev, is there a serious difference between losing to Murad Musayev or Adiran Mutu, and losing to Samir Abasov or other local coaches? Do you have a special motivation against the teams coached by a foreign expert?
– For me, team success is more important than personal success. I can be weaker than some coach, the main thing is that my team wins. Most of the current coaches played in my team as a football player. I am glad that such people are currently working as coaches. Their success makes me happy. But I have no principles against anyone.

– Do you think that a local or a foreign coach should be appointed to the main national team of Azerbaijan?
– A coach does not have a nationality. We always say that it should match the mentality of Azerbaijan. Never come. If it will improve our football, it is not necessary to know some mentality. There is a professional approach to a football player. We say no, we need to talk to our football player in a different way. This is not the correct view. I will repeat again, you will write again. We don’t have a head coach problem. We have been making this mistake for 32 years, and this will be the 33rd year. It doesn’t matter who comes. We do not look for the problem in the right place. – I want to have another conversation. But I don’t. It is good for Azerbaijani football to stay there. “Umraniyespor” had problems. But it was resolved. In the meantime, I saw how many teams wanted Coshgunu. I was talking to the Turkish manager.
