An early morning of fear and madness was experienced in the town of Presidencia de la Plaza, province of Chaco, when a man who was participating in the parades shot the person in charge of the sound because they had cut off the music.

According to the police report, a man who was identified as Julio García lost control in the early morning when the person responsible for the carnival sound finished his day and stopped playing music. At that moment, at gunpoint, he demanded that Rodolfo Ortiz continue to entertain the evening. When the sound engineer who was aboard a truck refused, he fired his gun and the projectile hit the roof of the vehicle.

The entire sequence occurred around 4:30 in the morning and was recorded on a home video that went viral. The place was the corsodrome and the victim was aboard a Toyota Hilux truck that had speakers.

“Garcia appears, demanding that the music be turned on, and when Ortíz refuses, he pulls out a revolver-type firearm from his waist. After a struggle between the two, he fires a shot and hits the inside of the roof of the truck. Subsequently, García retired and Ortíz had a burn on his left forearm,” the police report says.

Two arrested for theft of 7 thousand dollars

In that same province, a 28-year-old young man and a 38-year-old woman were arrested in the town of San Bernardo on charges of stealing cash from inside an elderly man’s home, police sources reported today.

The spokesmen indicated that the investigation began this week, when an 88-year-old man reported that 7,000 US dollars that were inside an envelope in his office were stolen from inside his home and, in addition, he reported that he suspected his domestic worker, since there were no signs of violence at home.

With this information, members of the Villa Ángela Interior Complex Investigations Division carried out the corresponding investigative tasks and, after that, carried out two raids.

According to the spokespersons, the first procedure took place in a house located at the intersection of Constitución and Sargento Cabral streets in the aforementioned town, where the victim’s 38-year-old domestic worker resided.

At the scene, the officers seized a motorcycle, a cell phone and also 130,000 pesos. During a second operation, the police raided the house of the woman’s partner, a 28-year-old man, who lived in Barrio 34. There, they seized 100,000 pesos in cash and documentation of the motorcycle seized from the other home, the police detailed. sources.
