The LFF Disciplinary Committee (DK), after reviewing the information received from the LFF Club Licensing Administration, as well as the club’s explanations, has determined that “Valmiera” as the recipient of the LFF-A license and applicant for the license of the Association of European Football Federations (UEFA) does not comply with the LFF Club Licensing Regulations .

As of April 17 of this year, SIA “Valmiera FC” has a tax debt to the State Revenue Service, as well as from the letter of April 10 from the International Association of Football Federations (FIFA), it can be established that the club “Valmiera” has outstanding financial obligations to former player Ruan Ribeira Rodriguez .

In addition to that, the possible debts to the club’s employees (players) are also indicated by the information that has been published in the public space about the delay in wages for several months.

LFF DK has unanimously decided to apply a ban on registration of new players to “Valmiera”. Also, the team was given a conditional penalty – three points deduction – if the LFF Club licensing regulations for late payments to other clubs, employees and social and tax institutions are not fulfilled. The penalty will come into effect if the relevant obligations are not fulfilled by April 30.

After seven games, the Valmiera team is in third place with 13 points.
