Bogor Indonesian Safari Park is a world-class conservation center and was named the best conservation site by the Indonesian Ministry of Forestry.

Currently, it is estimated that the number of Sumatran tigers is no more than 400, a drastic decrease compared to 10-20 years ago.

The cause is none other than the reduction in the habitat where they live. As a result, Sumatran tigers are increasingly appearing in residential areas and plantations. As a result, conflicts often occur.

On the one hand, residents consider Sumatran tigers entering residential areas as a threat that needs to be fought. So in the end, the number of tigers continues to decrease.

There are two types of tigers in the Indonesian Safari Park, namely Bengal tigers from India and Sumatran tigers from Indonesia.

Indonesia has three subspecies of tiger, namely the Javanese Tiger (Panthera tigris sondaica), the Bali Tiger (Panthera tigris balica) and the Sumatran Tiger (Panthera Tigris Sumatrae).

There are nine sub-species of tigers in the world, namely Javanese, Balinese, Caspian, Sumatran, Bengal, Siberian, Malayan, South China and Indochinese tigers. Three of them have become extinct, namely the Bali Tiger, Javanese Tiger and Caspian Tiger.

Bogor Indonesian Safari Park has more than 2500 animals from 250 species originating from various continents, such as Asia, Africa, America and Australia.

Some of the animals that you can meet at Taman Safari Indonesia Bogor include tigers, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, bears, kangaroos, red pandas, penguins and many more. Visitors can see these animals in their natural and comfortable habitat, and interact with them directly.

Here, visitors can explore the Taman Safari Indonesia Bogor area using private cars or buses provided by Taman Safari.

Visitors can see and feed the animals along the road, such as tigers, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and others. You can also capture precious moments with these animals using a camera or cellphone.
