The TNGGP anniversary, which was established on March 6 1980, was celebrated with a series of activities such as a charity charity event, a clean-up action on the mountain, and free health checks.
For your information, Mount Gede Pangrango National Park has an area of 24,270.80 hectares. The area includes Cianjur Regency, Bogor Regency and Sukabumi Regency. This also includes the Lido Nature Park which is managed by PT MNC Agrowisata which has a Nature Tourism Development permit in the TNGGP area covering an area of 101.82 hectares.
Apart from that, in early 2024 MNC has also signed a second cooperation agreement with TNGGP as an effort to strengthen its function through supporting the development of natural tourism and community empowerment as part of the development of the Lido Special Economic Zone.
“MNC has a permit to develop facilities and the permit has been issued from the minister. Now we are planning to carry out consumption and are working together to strengthen functions with MNC to further optimize the management of the national park,” said Head of the TNGGP Center, Sapto Aji Prabowo, on the sidelines of the anniversary celebration. 44th TNGGP.
