National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has issued a notification regarding this. Let us tell you that an increase of up to five percent in toll tax has been announced. Traveling on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Eastern Peripheral and Delhi-Meerut Expressway will become expensive from April 1. This will have a direct impact on people’s pockets. These also include many toll roads of UP and Bihar.

The UP government has also revised the toll rates for heavy vehicles plying on its three expressways.
