On a mountainside in Ninh Son district (Ninh Thuan), workers urgently poured gravel into landslide-proof slopes on the afternoon of April 3.
Mr. Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Director of Project Management Board 85, said: “Currently, the main route and overpasses at the Cam Lam – Vinh Hao expressway intersection have been completed in accordance with the commitment with the Ministry of Transport in the end of March. Contractors are completing the remaining sub-items of the project, ensuring on-time operation on the April 30 holiday as planned.”
According to a representative of Deo Ca Group, by the end of March, all works on the Cam Lam – Vinh Hao expressway were basically completed. Units are completing road markings, signs and an automatic non-stop toll collection system.
Vung mountain tunnel is more than 2.2 km long and is designed with two tunnels running in parallel, each tunnel is 14m wide. The tunnel on the right (from the north) serves phase 1. The tunnel on the right is for the line extension in phase 2. Tunnel width is 14m. After operation, Vung mountain tunnel will be the second largest road tunnel. 4 nationwide.
This category is implemented by Deo Ca Group. Currently, the tunnel serving phase 1 has basically completed the concrete lining of the tunnel and the road surface. The construction unit is connecting equipment in the tunnel to the operating center right at the south tunnel entrance.
Cam Lam – Vinh Hao Expressway passing through Ninh Thuan province has two important intersections: the intersection into and out of Phan Rang City – Thap Cham in Ninh Son district and the Du Long intersection into and out of National Highway 1 in Thuan Bac district. Worker Le Van Tho shared: “The main expressway will be basically completed from the beginning of 2024. We are currently patching and cleaning items to prepare for acceptance of the project. Sticking with the project for nearly 2 years Every year, when we see the expressway taking shape and about to be inaugurated, everyone is happy.”
The operation of the Cam Lam – Vinh Hao Expressway will connect the expressway from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang, helping visitors only spend about 5 hours instead of 6-7 hours as before.
