Although the Russian-Ukrainian war has passed its second year, the situation on the ground poses a serious risk for global peace. Especially recently, the messages of both the warring parties and the leaders who support these two countries separately have increased the tension.
Publika.az reports that French President Emmanuel Macron raised the issue of sending troops to Ukraine. He called on Europe and NATO to “not ignore this possibility”.
Russian President Vladimir Putin responded to Macron by drawing attention to nuclear power and threatened the West by saying, “Stay away from the region!”
Alexander Dugin, a strategist known as Putin’s “mentor”, commented on the disputes between the parties, the direction the world is heading and Turkey’s position against the war.
“We have never been so close to nuclear war. There is an interpolar war going on right now. It is between the unipolar world order and the multipolar system that the West is trying to preserve. The conflict lines are Ukraine, Palestine and Taiwan. A new front can also be opened in Africa and South America. We are at the stage of formation of the new world order. This process is the scene of heated conflicts. Worst of all, we now face the risk of nuclear war. Attacks on Russian cities can start a nuclear war at any moment,” said Dugin.
A. Dugin noted that the Third World War has started in a certain sense: “We are in the initial stage of it. NATO leaders do not understand that the steps they take can lead to a nuclear tragedy. An attack on Russia is the destruction of the world. If NATO continues its current policy, this terrible day will be inevitable.”
