The turnover of Greek hotels broke the 10 billion euro barrier

At 10.5 billion euros the turnover of Greek hotels soared in 2023, registering a 23% increase compared to the previous year! It is the first time that the turnover of the country’s approximately 10,600 hotels has broken the 10 billion euro barrier, given that their revenue ceiling in 2022 has reached 8.6 billion euros. However, last year’s figures show a wide variation between continuous and seasonal units, with average occupancy rising in all months except April, as well as the average asking price of double rooms, at least in the peak months.
