Accordingly, at 12:10 on May 1, the working group of the Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 3 (Team 3) stopped and inspected a 26-bed passenger car with license plate 36F-005. XX at Km 259 on Phap Van – Cau Gie – Ninh Binh highway (section through Nam Dinh province).
Through inspection, the working group discovered that driver TVV (born 1979, residing in Thanh Hoa) violated the alcohol concentration level of 0.099 mg/l of breath, with 57 passengers in the vehicle (31 more people than the regulations). .
Driver V. explained to the traffic police team that before transporting passengers, he had consumed alcohol and beer with his colleagues.
The working group made a record of administrative violations for the TVV driver with the following errors: Violation of alcohol concentration below 0.25 mg/L of breath and carrying more than the prescribed number of people. With the above two errors, the TVV driver and the vehicle owner, KO Transport and Trading Company Limited, will be fined 53 million VND. At the same time, driver V. had his driver’s license revoked for 12 months, his vehicle was impounded for 10 working days and his vehicle badge was stripped for 2 months.
According to the representative of Team 3, the TVV driver’s behavior puts him at risk of causing a traffic accident when he has alcohol in his breath and carries more than the prescribed number of people.
