On March 26, the Police Investigation Agency of Thuan Thanh Town Police issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecuting the defendant Vu Van Tam for the crime of: “Resisting people on duty.”
Previously, around 9:00 p.m. on February 20, Thanh Hoa City Police (Thanh Hoa province) checked alcohol levels on Truong Thi route (Truong Thi ward) and discovered 3 young men riding motorbikes without license plates. Not wearing a helmet, so signal to stop for inspection.
Seeing the traffic police, the vehicle driver did not obey the order but accelerated, swerved, and fled in an attempt to pass the checkpoint. In the process of fleeing, the motorbike collided with the side of the working group’s car. As a result, all three young men fell onto the street, causing minor scratches. The traffic police car was damaged.
Authorities determined that the motorbike driver was Khuat Tien Thinh, and the two young men sitting behind were Dao Hoang Anh and Tran Duc Hung (both 19 years old, residing in Thanh Hoa city).
