It was reported that in the framework of cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO), the Ministry approved the “List of types of rehabilitation facilities provided to persons with disabilities at the expense of the state budget” and the “Conditions and Rules for the provision of rehabilitation facilities to persons with disabilities” approved by the relevant decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers. proposals for changes have been prepared.
The proposals envisage increasing the number of types of rehabilitation tools from 57 to 81 by adding them to the list of types of rehabilitation tools provided to persons with disabilities at the expense of the state budget and grouping them according to WHO classification.
Proposed items to be added to the list include walkers, handrails (for picking up small objects), fall detectors, portable ramps, grab bars for toilets and bathrooms, absorbent pads and sheets, leg braces, personal alarms alarm systems, braille clock, braille writing device, etc. includes.
It should be recalled that earlier, in 2020, based on the proposals of the Ministry, 23 types of rehabilitation were included in that list, and the number of types of rehabilitation tools in the list was increased to 57.
