As the organizers calculate, a week before the real Christmas arrives, they will want to dazzle us with an extraordinary performance of songs from the films Home Alone, Frozen, A Christmas Carol, The Grinch, Heavenly Love, The Polar Express, Harry Potter and many others. “The unique symphonic show Christmas in Hollywood with more than 150 professional artists on stage will bring to the Congress Center in Prague a combination of the world of film, music and Christmas magic,” promise the people from Prague POPS, i.e. Prague Pop Symphonics, which is a symphonic orchestra cooperating with professional artists from the most prestigious Czech orchestras. But their holiday performance will be more than music!

Film melodies performed by Prague POPS will be accompanied by modern technologies that guarantee high-quality sound, animations on a large LED screen, breathtaking light, visual and scenic effects. “There will be cosplayers in costumes of popular characters, who together will contribute to a perfect experience, and you will witness how movie stories come to life right on stage,” Lenka Dandová revealed to Bleska for the orchestra. “The popular actress Patricie Pagáčová will guide the audience through the whole evening. Famous songs will be sung by the popular singer Markéta Poulíčková, and the orchestra and choir will be led by the renowned conductor Robert Kružík,” she added.
So who will put you in the right mood that will warm you up like honey tea? He will contribute with Harry Potter and the film Home Alone John Williams, whose film scores are among the most popular classics and are known for their cheerful and entertaining character. Another example is Alan Silvestri, who created emotional and magical music with a distinct atmosphere for the animated Polar Express. He also composed the music for several adaptations of Christmas carols, one of the melodies will be heard here. Craig Armstrong will add the tunes from the irreplaceable movie Heavenly Love. And the author duo Kirsten Anderson Lopez with Robert Lopez again Let It Go, Elsa’s iconic song, loved by young and old, from the Frozen Kingdom will be heard.
