On the afternoon of January 20, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police force of Binh Duong Provincial Police and Tan Uyen City Police were trying to control the fire that occurred at KC Company (specializing in manufacturing foam mattresses), located in Khanh Long neighborhood. (Tan Phuoc Khanh ward, Tan Uyen city).
Initial information, at around 13:00 on the same day, the authorities of Tan Phuoc Khanh ward received a fire alarm at the above company. The incident was quickly reported by the Ward Police to the Tan Uyen City Police who deployed people and vehicles to the scene to extinguish the fire.
Because the factory contained many flammable materials, the fire broke out quickly and spread. The Fire Police Force mobilized about 10 vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene.
According to information from some people present at the scene, because the fire broke out quickly, people present in the factory fled. The fire did not cause any loss of life, but it burned many properties and the factory collapsed.
