By donating to the collection, you will also help with the final farewell to Alena Krejčíková, because the family now has no money for her funeral due to the difficult financial situation.” wrote the organizers.

Immediately, a huge wave of aid started and more than three quarters of a million crowns were collected in two days. The family was very surprised by this and decided not to keep the entire amount for themselves. Originally they were thinking of supporting the Austrian crew who suffered a very serious accident at the weekend. “After communicating with the team from Austria, one of the contestants expressed that she greatly appreciates the offer of help, but that they are financially secure and the money from the collection will be more useful to the Krejčík family,” the organizers explained.

Even so, the husband and son want to split the help. “So we will fully concentrate on helping little Eliška, whom Alenka and Jarda were supposed to support on May 11 as part of the Run for Eliška – Křenovská pětimíle 2024. Unfortunately, this support will not take place, therefore the family would like to help Eliška, at least financially from the selected collection.” it is written on the pages of the collection.

The Křenovská five-mile run is a charity event associated with an endurance race, which takes place every year to help the handicapped Eliška. Here, from birth, their legs do not obey and they have to move with the help of a bouncer or on all fours. The collected money will also go towards her treatment and rehabilitation.
