The Consulate General of Kazakhstan opened in Brest

A solemn opening ceremony of the Consulate General of Kazakhstan took place in the Belarusian Brest, Liter.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In Kazakhstan, they treat Belarus with special warmth – our key political and economic partner, reliable ally and close friend. Raising the status of the consular mission of Kazakhstan in the city of Brest to the level of a consulate general by decision of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will give another impetus to the further dynamic development of interaction between our countries, – noted, speaking to the participants of the event, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu .

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Igor Nazaruk, welcoming the Kazakh delegation, said that the opening of the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in the city of Brest is an important step aimed at increasing the level and status of relations between the two countries.

This event, according to him, indicates that the instructions of the heads of Belarus and Kazakhstan to expand and intensify bilateral interaction are being carried out in full and ahead of schedule.
