Summary of the operations of the Lebanese factions against the Israeli army yesterday

Lebanon – Lebanese armed factions published a summary of the operations they carried out against the Israeli army yesterday, Tuesday, “in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance.”

The factions’ military media concluded that the factions carried out a number of operations against the positions of the Israeli enemy army deployed on the Lebanese-Palestinian border on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, according to the following:

– Eastern sector (southern Lebanon):

1- 15:30 (Lebanon time): An Israeli military force was targeted in the vicinity of Al-Tayhat Hill with missile weapons and artillery shells, and it was directly hit.
2- At 15:35: An Israeli military logistical vehicle and a group of soldiers inside and around it in Tallet Al-Tihat were targeted with a guided missile that directly hit it, leaving its members dead and wounded.
3- 18:00: The Ruwaisat Al-Alam site in the occupied Lebanese hills of Kafr Shuba was targeted with missile weapons, and it was directly hit.
4- At 18:15: A gathering of Israeli enemy soldiers was targeted in the vicinity of the Ruwaisat al-Alam site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills with missile weapons, and it was directly hit.
5- 21:40: The Al-Marj site was targeted with artillery shells while an enemy logistical team was rebuilding and fortifying it after the resistance had destroyed it earlier.

– Western sector (southern Lebanon):

1- 14:40: A deployment of Israeli enemy soldiers was targeted at the Birkat Risha site and its surroundings with missile weapons, and it was directly hit.
2- At 14:40: A movement of Israeli enemy soldiers inside the Al-Malikiyah site was targeted with missile weapons, and it was directly hit.
3- 16:30: A Zionist military force south of the Pranit site was targeted with missile weapons, and was directly hit.
4- At 17:45: The Zarit settlement was targeted with a Falaq (1) missile, in response to the Israeli attacks on villages and civilians.

The UNIFIL leadership operating in Lebanon renewed “calls on all actors to lay down their weapons, recommit to UN Security Council Resolution 1701, and work towards a political and diplomatic solution.”

The border between Lebanon and Israel is still witnessing tension and intermittent exchanges of fire, while voices are rising warning that the situation will slide into a large-scale war, affecting all Lebanese territories, with the intensity of clashes between the Lebanese factions and the Israeli army escalating.
