In particular, the AADE with its announcement that responds to the publications that highlighted the fact that flood affected property ownersthey found that liquidations were posted notes LIGHT for 2024with a payment date of the first installment until the end of April, for buildings which have been destroyed or is unsuitable for use notes that the flood victims in question “although meet all legal ones conditions» received the liquidation notes of ENFIA because «they did not apply for exemption by LIGHT on the Arogi platform”.

“Those citizens who did not receive an exemption from the ENFIA for their properties affected by natural disasters from 1/7/2023 onwards, although they meet all the legal requirements, because they did not apply for an exemption from the ENFIA on the Aid platform, can apply for an exemption to the competent DOU of his tax residence, presenting the required supporting documents, in accordance with decision A. 1272/2019. The application can be submitted on the myAADE digital portal (myaade.gov.gr), in the “My Applications” application, under the Fund / Application for a reduction or exemption from ENFIA” characteristically states the Independent Authority in its announcement.

The announcement in detail:

“On the occasion of the publications regarding the sending of ENFIA clearing papers to the flood victims of Nea Smyrni in Larissa, the following is clarified:

The exemption procedure from ENFIA is provided for in article 3 par. 6 of law 4223/2013, as last amended by article 54 of law 5087/2024.

For disasters from 1/7/2023 onwards, exemption from ENFIA is granted: a) for the buildings after the relevant plot and b) for the plots of land and the buildings on them located in affected areas, and they meet the conditions of proof of of danger or unsuitability or destruction as the case may be, and the certificates prescribed by law are available for them.

Based on the exemption applications submitted on the Arogi platform (arogi.gov.gr), the AADE proceeded with a total of exemptions from ENFIA 2024 in 11,230 VATS, for 15,706 property rights on buildings after the relevant plot and in 25,432 VATS for 86,456 property rights on plots of land. In detail, exemptions were given as follows:
