It was reported that the first stage of the command-staff training began with the units being brought to different levels of combat readiness and taken to the training regions with the “Hayajan” signal.
In order to equip the troops with mobilization resources, reception points for personal personnel and equipment were opened and practical reception of personnel called for special specialties was carried out. After the appropriate registration at the opened stations, the personnel underwent a medical examination and were provided with weapons and other necessary supplies.
In the opened field and stationary battle control points, operations planning was started based on the task received from the top command, and activities in accordance with the military decision-making process were carried out for optimal decision-making. The tank, artillery, air defense and special-purpose units involved in the command-staff training successfully coped with the assigned tasks and created favorable conditions for the execution of the tasks facing the units of the general army.
In the course of the training, the special forces performed various intelligence tasks in the depths of the conventional enemy, in mountainous and rocky areas with difficult passage, including raids on the important objects of the conventional enemy. The second stage of the training was held by playing on computers in the Simulation Center in order to practically see the possibility of implementing the decisions made by the headquarters in the real area, the ability of the commanders to manage their subordinate units on the battlefield, the effective use of fire-support means and the organization of comprehensive support at all stages of the battle.
At the end of the training, the level of preparedness of the headquarters in the planning of operations was highly evaluated and it was emphasized that the set goals were achieved as a result of the joint activity of various types of troops.
