Shakira’s Entourage Breaks Silence on Rumored Romance with F1 Driver Lewis Hamilton
Shakira has resurfaced in news headlines thanks to her newfound friendship with British F1 driver, Lewis Hamilton. The Barranquilla-born singer has been known for making headlines due to her separation from ex-footballer Gerard Pique, but has now caught the public’s attention because of her closeness with Hamilton in recent weeks.
Shakira’s Entourage Speaks Out Amid Rumors with Lewis Hamilton
Shakira was the star of two Formula 1 Grand Prix races. The Colombian songstress was present in the ‘paddock’ of both Miami and Spanish Grand Prix races, the top echelon of world motorsport.
After being spotted spending a few hours with Lewis Hamilton in Miami, where she currently resides, Shakira was photographed again with the legendary Mercedes driver, fueling rumors of a potential romance between the two. Citing an anonymous source, People magazine claimed that “there is flirting” between the two and that they are “spending time together and getting to know each other.”
Nevertheless, Shakira’s entourage has decided to step up and break their silence on the issue.

The last image that was known of Shakira with Hamilton had to do with the party of the guests at the Spanish GP, in Formula 1.
The Barranquilla native was seen at a bar with the driver and other notable celebrities such as Brazilian Neymar and Frenchman Kylian Mbappé, further fueling rumors of a potential relationship.
However, respected journalist Lorena Vásquez, who was the first to break the news of Shakira’s separation from ex-husband Gerard Piqué, made a statement regarding Shakira’s romantic status with Hamilton.
“Shakira’s entourage in the United States has neither confirmed nor denied any relationship with Hamilton”, Vasquez asserts.

“I was recently asked if I trusted People magazine and I responded, ‘Of course, it’s one of the most reputable sources of information.’ They then told me to ‘be guided by your instincts’.”
“This is a way of confirming it, isn’t it?” commented Vásquez on the ‘Y Ahora Sonsoles’ program, on ‘Antena 3’, where the information was disseminated.
For now, neither Hamilton nor Shakira has publicly addressed the rumors about their relationship status.
