Security files unite the efforts of Morocco and Saudi Arabia

The Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Abdellatif Hamouchi, received, on Friday afternoon, in Rabat, Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia accredited to Morocco.

A security source stated that this meeting took place in the context of a working and cooperation visit made by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Rabat to the office of the Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, to discuss various security issues of common interest.

The same source added that the two parties reviewed, at the beginning of the meeting, the levels and forms of distinguished cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the security field, and also discussed mechanisms for improving this cooperation and expanding its scope, so that it is at the level of distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries.

The two sides also discussed the security situation at the international and regional levels, and reviewed the risks, threats and repercussions arising from many emerging crises in the international and regional environment of the two countries.

The source indicated that, at the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides stressed the firm desire of the two brotherly countries to strengthen their security cooperation and exchange expertise and experiences in the police field, in a way that allows for the strengthening of their common security.
