On the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the January 20 tragedy, schoolchildren holding red carnations and pictures of martyrs rush to the Alley of Martyrs. These little saplings, who don’t know what blood, cannons, guns, and death are, and whose hearts are pure as glass, arrange flowers on the graves of innocent martyrs killed by deadly bullets.
They were told about the martyrs by their parents at home, teachers at school, and they themselves read from books. And now they have come to visit the holy martyrs who gave them whole and independent Azerbaijan, blue sky and bright sun with their lives and blood. Schoolchildren stand in front of each martyr on the black marble plaques and listen to their teacher’s stories about their identity and the circumstances of their death. They will never forget the stories they heard today, the bright faces they saw, the impressions they received…
Publika.az informs that the pilgrimage to the Alley of Martyrs has already started from today.
Among the visitors are employees of various state institutions and family members of the martyrs, relatives and friends, representatives of different sections of society, as well as parents and children. They arrange carnations in front of the graves of the martyrs and pray for their souls.
The dear memory of our children who died for the freedom, independence and sovereignty of Azerbaijan is dear to everyone who lives freely and happily on this land.
