Better safe than sorry – or maybe not?

A humorous reckoning with conspiracy theories and the Viennese upper class based on the French comedy by Pierre Chesnot.

But one thing first: in this story, humor deserves the highest level of security!

Baldwin Sommerbauer is no longer sure of his life! A series of kidnappings in the area fuels his fears. He’s felt like he’s been watched and followed for weeks – he’s definitely next! That’s why he becomes more and more holed up in his magnificent suburban villa, which he of course equips with security measures: an alarm system that drowns out everything and bear traps – much to the chagrin of his family and neighbors.

But when are you sure enough? A bodyguard is needed: The muscle-bound, adventurous and extremely professional Mr. “Rambo” Rambousek is hired to protect the man of the house, including his wife, stubborn daughter and diamonds.

Better safe than sorry! Or not? What is behind Baldwin’s paranoia? Is the danger perhaps lurking somewhere completely different than he suspects?

One thing is certain: the best entertainment!

Under the direction of audience favorite Andreas Steppan, well-known faces play: Gerald Pichowetz, Claudia Rohnefeld, Edith Soukup, Christoph Fälbl, Chiara Larson, Franz Mifkovic and Franz Josef Danner.
