The Guatemalan cyclist Rony Julajujfrom the PPP Development team, finished as champion of the individual general classification of the eighth edition of the Tour for Just Peace Guatemala 2024, which was held in national territory from Wednesday, February 14 to Sunday, February 18 of this year.

Rony Julajuj ended up beating the Colombians Saul Burgo, Oscar Pachón and José Tobasía. At the end of the event, the national won the event with a cumulative time of 14 hours, 45 minutes and 55 seconds. Second place was Burgo, two seconds behind the winner.

Along with Rony Julajuj, the other champions were: Néstor Rueda (flying goals), Saúl Burgos (mountain goals) and José Tobasía (U23).

At the end of the event, champion Rony Julajuj gave statements where he demonstrated his happiness and satisfaction with this new achievement in his sporting life.

“Very happy to have a new day. We thought about the strategy in the stage and not so much in the general. This victory is special for achieving one more victory in my sports career. This victory is also dedicated to God, to all my teammates and to the fans of Tecpán,” said monarch Julajuj.
