Bing Worthington, the half-brother of rapper Snoop Dogg, has died. He was 44 years old.

The 52-year-old rapper announced the news himself on social media last Friday. In an emotional message and using some photos, he said goodbye to Bing Worthington, his half-brother.
For example, he wrote on a photo of the two of them: “until we meet again” or “say goodbye to grandma”, all accompanied by a series of emoticons.
The two were not only brothers, they also often worked together professionally. For example, Worthington was Snoop Dogg’s tour manager and executive producer of the record label Dogg Records. He also co-wrote some of his world-famous brother’s songs and was part of the band ‘Lifestyle’.
In an interview with Vice, Worthington once said that he was grateful for the opportunities he was given, but that he owed his success mainly to hard work: “I didn’t get it from Snoop, I worked hard to be where I now stand.”
Worthington, 44, died last Thursday, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department in California. The exact cause of death is still under investigation. Earlier this month, the family also received bad news about Cori Broadus, the 24-year-old daughter of Snoop Dogg. She suffered a stroke and was allowed to leave the hospital in the meantime.
