Producer-director Mohammad Iqbal made the movie ‘Deadbody’ based on the horror story. The movie was supposed to be released in the country’s cineplexes on the last Eid. However, at the last minute, it backs off. The movie is releasing on May 3.
Ahead of the release of the movie today (April 29) the crew of the movie distributed pure drinking water to the common people at the motorcycle roadshow. The actors of the movie marched with about one and a half hundred motorcycles and pick-up vans and micros. The roadshow started from FDC through Dhaka University, Newmarket, Dhanmondi, Shyamoli Cinema Hall and ended at Sony Square in Mirpur. Director Iqbal, actor Omar Sani, music director FA Pritam and others were present on the occasion.

At that time, Iqbal said, I did not want to release the movie at the wrong time, due to which I withdrew from the decision at the last moment. Because 11 movies have been released this Eid. So many movies together is a threat. We don’t have enough cinema halls. Many movies released this Eid have become web series. Cinema is a different matter. But the audience returned them. May 3 is going to be another Eid. Everyone is invited to come and watch ‘Deadbody’ at the cinema.
Omar Sani said, I have acted in more than two hundred movies. But this is the first time I have worked in such a role. I request those who love Bengali cinema to come and watch the movie. I am very optimistic about the movie.
