JAKARTA – The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) opened 26,319 formations for Civil Servant Candidates ( CPNS ) with details of 6,385 technical personnel, 3 health personnel and 19,931 government employees with Technical Personnel Work Agreements (PPPK).
PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono said the number of formations was to complete ASN management at the PUPR Ministry. Because currently in the PUPR Ministry itself there are still more than 20 thousand non-ASN, 3,200 PPPK and 19 thousand ASN
“We have to resolve the status of 20 thousand non-ASN people,” said Minister Basuki in an official statement quoted on Sunday (21/4/2024).
He advised echelon I within the PUPR Ministry to encourage non-ASN employees to register for PPPK formation. This is a form of attention from the PUPR Ministry to the status of its employees.
“Hopefully with this settlement we will not only receive 6,000 new CPNS, but also resolve the existing non-ASN status at the Ministry of PUPR in 2024. Let’s finish everything this year,” he said.
Meanwhile, PAN-RB Minister Abdullah Azwar Anas revealed that in total the proposed ASN formation for the Ministry of PUPR was approved by 95.3%. Of the 27,609 proposed formations, 26,319 formations have been approved.
There are five agreed principles for accepting ASN 2024, namely focusing on basic services for teachers and health, resolving the problems of non-ASN personnel within the government as optimally as possible, recruiting new talents (fresh graduates) through CPNS selection, reducing recruitment for positions that will be affected by digital transformation and supporting the effectiveness of IKN Nusantara’s work.
