PTI’s current chairman Barrister Gahar claimed that the party is ahead in more than 150 seats. Where the country has 265 parliamentary seats. In such a situation, it has been alleged that the ECP is delaying the counting of votes for the purpose of ‘falsifying the results’.

In this election, the coalition government has made every effort to prevent Imran Khan’s party PTI from the election. As a result, the candidates of the party participated in this election as independents and they are ahead in most of the constituencies.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) announced the results of only eight national assemblies more than 13 hours after the polls closed at around 6 a.m. on Friday, AFP said. Three of them were won by independent candidates of PTI. Meanwhile, the ECP blamed ‘internet issues’ as the reason for the delay in declaring the results.

Earlier, before the announcement of the first result, PTI chief organizer Omar Ayub Khan said, I am confident that our team has done well enough. We have the power to form the next central government with a two-thirds majority of independent candidates.

Meanwhile, party chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari feels that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is doing better than expected. The initial results are very encouraging, he said.
