This is reflected in the food price panel data reported by MNC Portal Indonesia from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) website, Sunday (7/4/2024) at 10.23 WIB.
Shallots, for example, are now priced at IDR 40,180 per kg, an increase of IDR 1,030 or approximately 2.63% compared to the previous price. Then it is also observed that the price of garlic bulbs is still increasing. Currently, this head of garlic is being sold for IDR 42,380 per kg or an increase of 0.59% compared to the previous price.
Other commodities that also experienced price increases were curly red chilies and red cayenne peppers. Both are now priced at IDR 51,570 per kg and IDR 52,760 per kg
The price increase also occurred for pure beef, which is now selling for IDR 139,440 per kg. The actual price increased by 1.46% or around IDR 2,010 compared to the previous price.
Furthermore, the price of purebred chicken meat and purebred chicken eggs was also observed to have increased in price. Both are now priced at IDR 38,800 per kg and IDR 31,150 per kg.
Meanwhile, it has been observed that the price of premium rice has decreased. Currently, premium rice is set at IDR 16,040 per kg or a decrease of around 0.68 percent compared to the previous price.
Likewise, medium rice is also now selling for IDR 13,860 per kg or down 0.79 percent compared to the previous price.
