Pos Indonesia Returns to Distribute PKH Social Assistance and Basic Food Funds in Mataram

JAKARTA – PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) again distributed aid from the Family Hope Program (PKH) and basic necessities in Mataram, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). The distribution of PKH social assistance and basic necessities was carried out at the KCU Mataram Post Office in an orderly and safe manner.

Deputy Executive General Manager of KCU Mataram Edhi Mulyo Utomo explained that the collection of social assistance funds can be represented if the KPM is absent or has problems attending the post office. However, there are several conditions that must be met, namely that the taker must be part of the family and be on the same KK list as the KPM.

“You can be represented by family members at home. For example, your wife or children. The important thing is that they have one KK (Family Card). What are the requirements? They must bring the recipient’s original KTP (Resident Identification Card). Then, the recipient’s original KTP and KK. “Everything must be original because we will take photos of the documents,” said Mataram KCU Deputy Executive General Manager Edhi Mulyo Utomo in an official statement, Sunday (5/5/2024).

KPM is happier to receive money

KPMs welcomed the distribution of PKH social assistance and basic necessities in Mataram. One of them, KPM from Ampenan District, Subak. He said this assistance was very helpful in meeting his family’s daily needs. Including the need for children to go to school.

“I received cash assistance from the PKH program amounting to IDR 500 thousand. This money is very useful and can be used to pay my children’s school fees,” said Subak.

Subak hopes that the government can continue this assistance program. However, he also wants this aid to be distributed on target.

“Hopefully this aid program can run better and the numbers can be increased. Hopefully the aid can also be distributed on target and not distributed to people who can already afford it,” he said.

The benefits of PKH social assistance were also expressed by KPM from Bintaro Village, Mataram, Dia Diani. The aid funds he receives will be used to meet his daily needs. Also pays for children’s schooling.
