Even though the ambulance was on duty and gave priority signals, the truck kept “swinging” and did not give way.

On the afternoon of March 5, the Traffic Police Department of Phu Yen Provincial Police issued a decision to impose an administrative fine of 7 million VND on Mr. Nguyen To N. (39 years old, Dong Hoa town, Phu Yen province) for administrative violation. The truck’s microcontroller does not give way to the priority vehicle that is signaling priority to go on duty.

In addition to the monetary penalty, Mr. N. also had his Class C driver’s license revoked for 3 months.
