The Directorate of Health has raided private hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centers in the capital. Three more establishments were closed on the second day of the operation.
On Wednesday (February 28), two teams raided various clinics and hospitals in Rampura, Mirpur and Mohammadpur on the instructions of the director general of the health department.
On this day, three institutions were closed, 10 institutions were visited. One of them was given a verbal warning by the directorate.
The closed institutions are Care Hospital and Diagnostic Center at Mohammadpur Iqbal Road, Dhaka Trauma Center and Specialized Hospital at Shyamli and Hicare Neuro and Cardiac Hospital at Uttara High Care Hospital. These institutions have been closed due to lack of license.
Apart from this, Shyamli’s Highcare Orthopedics and General Hospital have been condemned due to various irregularities.
And SBF Kidney Care Center at Shyamoli has been directed to appoint Phuk Time Nephrology Doctor. Besides, it has been asked to draw the name and photo of the information officer at the Bangladesh Specialized Hospital in Shyamli. Shyamli Islam Diagnostic Center was verbally alerted as the color coded bins were not correct.
Also visited on the day, Lubana Hospital, Uttara Lab Aid Diagnostic, Uttara Ibn Sina Diagnostic.
