Olympic Safi responds to coach Mustafa

Ahmed Boukataya, the general secretary of the Olympique Safi club, commented on the statements of the team’s former coach, the Egyptian Tarek Mostafa, in which he said that he was forced to sue the club after he was tired of waiting for the payment of his outstanding dues, by saying that the reality of things is not as it is promoted.

Bouktaya explained, in a statement to “Hesport”, that the Olympique Safi club was always open to paying Tariq Mustafa’s dues, and a settlement was reached between the two parties according to which the Egyptian coach would receive a certain amount, but the latter announced that he was ready to wait for the club president to solve his problems. And he is not in a rush to pay his dues.

The spokesman added: “At a time when Tariq Mustafa was misleading us with his understanding of the club’s situation, even though we, as an office, were prepared to spend the agreed upon amount, it turned out that he was proceeding with the procedures of resorting to the dispute committee within the International Federation of Football Associations in the hope of obtaining a ruling for a larger sum of money than what we agreed upon.” on him”.

He continued: “Indeed, FIFA decided on his file last February and ruled that he would receive an amount of 56 million centimes, which is an amount less than what we had previously agreed upon. He then decided to resort to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, which still has not decided on the file.”

It is worth noting that Tariq Mostafa is currently the coach of Al-Dakhiliya Club, which occupies last place in the Egyptian League standings with 11 points, gained from one win, 8 draws and 10 defeats.
