Nicole Kidman definitely not idle. She recently filmed a new six-part miniseries Expatriates (originally Expats) directed by Lulu Wang (40), who also wrote the screenplay. Based on the book of the same name by Janice YK Lee (52) from Hong Kong, the story depicts a group of women whose lives are turned upside down in a single evening.
Already in the third part of the psychological drama, a challenging task awaited Kidman, who played the role of Margaret: She had to go completely naked in front of the camera! However, the intimate scene from the bathtub is filmed in such a way that all hot parts remain hidden from the audience.
It was not the only pitfall that the actress had to overcome during the filming of the work. After arriving in Hong Kong, where it was filmed, she was exempted from the usual three-week quarantine due to covid, and the local media could not forgive her for a long time. So maybe the miniseries was worth it.
