Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he is “thinking” about replacing the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zalujny, as well as other high-ranking officials.
Publika.az reports that the head of Ukraine said this in an interview with the Italian Rai1 TV channel.
According to media reports, Zelensky was asked to comment on Zalujny’s possible resignation.
“When we talk about this, I mean the rotation of the whole government, not just one sector like the military. I think about this substitution (of Zalujni), but it cannot be said that we are talking about replacing one person. If we want to win, we must push everyone in the same direction, confident of victory, we must not despair and give up.
That’s why I’m talking about reloading, not replacing. I have something serious in my mind, it is not about targeting one person, but the leadership of the country,” said the head of Ukraine.
According to Zelensky, “we are talking about the people who should rule Ukraine. Of course, we need a fresh start, a new beginning.”
