Fitia and Miarana put their titles on the line.

Passion for padel continues to intensify in Madagascar with the organization of the Open 100, the second circuit of the Malagasy Pro Padel Tour (MPPTour), scheduled for this weekend at the Lamako Padel Center in Ambatobe. After the success of previous tournaments, including the inaugural Orange MPPTour 100 mixed tournament and competitions for beginners, fans of this sport are preparing for another thrilling event. On the program for this event, 20 men’s teams and 13 women’s teams are vying for victory in a competition that already promises to be fierce. Expectations are high, with favorite teams determined to defend their title and push their limits on the pitch.

On the women’s side, sisters Fitia and Miarana Robinson appear as the undisputed favorites. Their victory in the previous year’s masters and their leading position in the general classification at the end of last year make them formidable opponents to beat. Their experience and talent make them a formidable duo on the court, ready to face any challenge.

Among the men, the team made up of Nante and Landry Rabezafy, as well as Max Fontaine, current Minister of the Environment, and Marin Fontaine, stand out as the teams to beat. “We hope that this Open 100 will attract as much enthusiasm and public, or even more, to discover and enjoy padel in Ambatobe”says Gary Ah-Waye, co-manager of the MPPTour.
