Russian President Vladimir Putin declared a national day of mourning on Sunday in an address to the nation following the attack. He said, the entire country and the entire nation is mourning this incident.
The Islamic State (IS) militant group claimed responsibility for the attack. However, Putin claims that four gunmen are among the 11 arrested. Escaped from the concert hall and hid in the Bryansk region, about 340 kilometers southwest of Moscow.
