On the social network X, formerly Twitter, and under the label FacebookDown, messages are being shared from different countries around the world; However, at the moment, there is no official information about Mark Zuckerberg’s platforms.
Some users have reported that when trying to log in to their Facebook accounts again, they were notified that a code would be sent to their WhatsApp, despite not having the accounts linked. Which created alert about a possible cyber attack.
The only spokesperson for Meta who has spoken out has been Andy Stone, its communications director, who has confirmed these problems and who has stated, on the social network cause of this fall.

Recently, Meta announced that it will identify “in the coming months” any image generated by artificial intelligence (AI) that appears on its social networks Facebook, Instagram and Threads.
“In the coming months we will label images that users post on Facebook, Instagram and Threads, as long as we can detect the indicators, in accordance with industry standards, that reveal that they are generated by AI” announced Nick Clegg, the head of international affairs of Meta, in a blog.
The company already identifies generated images with the help of its own tool, which was launched in December.
