One of the children of the murdered broker in the judicial system, Martin Bojanov – the Notary – Maria, revealed in an interview for Nova TV that after the death of her father, she received threats that she would be “next”.
“The one person who threatened me works at my father’s compound. I filed a complaint. He identified himself as a former law enforcement officer and told me I was next. The other threat was indirect from third parties who told me I was threatened by the lawyers of my father’s wife – Gergana Grancharova”. Maria explained.
“I want to reveal a truth about the events that happened after my father’s death. I want to show what are the things and actions that were taken against me, my brothers and sisters. We are 5 children from 4 different wives. However, I maintained constant contact with my father over the years. Like any normal family, we fought, loved, fought, loved. The most traumatic thing for me about the whole situation is that a month before he was killed, we were fighting and angry at each other. I hadn’t heard from each other in January with him. We last heard from each other before the New Year.” Bojanov’s daughter shared.
And she added that she knew that her father was engaged in commercial activities. “Since I was little, I knew that there were bars, restaurants, a grocery store and a bakery. At the moment, the information that is coming out, I cannot comment on it, because I do not know my father in this light. For me, these are insinuations of the media. I cannot comment about criminal activity because I haven’t seen anything like it in years.” explained Maria.
She also made a comment about Bojanov’s notorious secret club, which was allegedly attended by selected judges and prosecutors.
“I used to visit it as a child, I studied nearby and after school I used to go there until I was 16. I grew up there. I can’t say if I saw any faces like that inside because I was young. Actually, I didn’t see many people inside, we were just us. I’ve never seen a handover of money. My father was an aesthete, he liked the beautiful and he liked to make places to just stand in. I don’t think the name has anything to do with what’s being made at the moment. To me it is not my father. Every single person builds an image of their parents. I know him in a completely different role as a completely different person – cheerful, loving life.” Maria added.
“The tragedy that has befallen our family is much more shocking than what is in the media. It is a great harassment to read things that border on absolute insanity every day. I don’t think the average person realizes that.” Martin Bojanov’s daughter also said.
Regarding an investigation by Nova TV about Bojanov’s first frauds, Maria said: “I watched the report about my father’s aunt who was allegedly thrown out of her home. It’s not true. She died in her apartment.”
And she added that, in her opinion, the investigation into her father’s death was not objective. According to her, Bojanov was not threatened.
When asked how she learned about the murder, Maria said the following:
“Friends of mine saw it on the news and called me. My dad was on his way home. After he slowed down, his wife turned on the cameras that look into their parking spaces. She saw his body on the ground and immediately ran over there. She called 112, thinking that he was sick. My little sister was with her all the time. My father had to travel on February 3 outside Bulgaria. Someone knew that he had to travel and hurried to commit the crime.” .
Regarding her relationship with Gergana Grancharova, Maria said:
“I’ve known her since I was 13. She worked in an SS club. Then she separated, I hadn’t seen her for a few years and after they got back together our communication was normal until my father’s death. After that it was Divide and Conquer from her country and several other members of my family. She tried to turn me and my siblings against each other. She did an illegal act – she tried to become the sole owner of my father’s company and put her person as manager. They tried to they use my grandmother to manipulate me through her, because they knew how important she was to me. We lived together after the tragedy, but when they saw that I did not give in, my grandmother returned to Gergana. Since then, we have not communicated, we have only written to each other”.
“I don’t tolerate things like that. We live in a country of law where there are laws that must be followed. That’s why I came out to speak. Maybe his wife thinks we’re unworthy and she’s entitled to everything, but that’s not the way. I’m not saying she’s applying pressure, but that’s how I feel.” Martin Bojanov’s daughter concluded.
