In the arrest of a man who attacked indiscriminately with samurai sword and injured 4 people in his Hainault NE of London the police proceeded.
The 36-year-old arrested is being held, while the subway station closed after the incident.

The authorities believe that the incident is not related to terrorism.

In a statement, the police clarified that they were called “shortly before 07:00” in this district of London, while eyewitnesses stated that “people were stabbed”.
“A man with a sword has been arrested,” it added in its statement, clarifying that based on the testimonies gathered from the scene of the attack, the suspect attacked passers-by “and two police officers.”
“We are awaiting information on the condition of the people who were injured,” the police continued in their statement.
“We do not believe there is still a threat” in the neighborhood and “we are not looking for other suspects,” police official Aid Eidelekan said in a statement.
“This incident does not appear to be linked to terrorism,” he adds.
