On Monday, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador revealed during his morning press conference that Rocha had asked the federal government for help in finding García Corral, who had disappeared since Saturday along with his friend Juan Francisco Cerón.

According to the founder of the PAS, Héctor Melesio Cuén, last weekend, police had detained the candidate prior to his disappearance, for which he held the state government responsible for the events and announced that they would suspend the campaign due to the unsafe conditions.

This Tuesday, Melesio Cuén celebrated the appearance of both people.
