Leap 2024: Saudi Investor Group Partnership with Pakistani Company

A leading Saudi investment group in the information technology and technology sector has entered into an agreement with a Pakistani company, Super Nova Solutions, a major provider of country planning and business solutions.

According to Arab News, this partnership was announced on the occasion of the LeapTech Convention in Riyadh from March 4 to 7. Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Farooq has welcomed him.

The company has said in its statement regarding the ambassador that ‘this is an important investment in Pakistan’s IT industry.’

He said that ‘Saudi Arabia will introduce the IT capabilities of Pakistan at the global level.’

Ahmed Farooq specially thanked Saudi Arabia’s leading investor in IT and technology sectors, Khalid Saad Al-Sabti, for investing in Pakistan’s IT sector. “His confidence in Pakistan will attract the attention of global investors towards Pakistan’s IT industry.”

Ambassador Farooq inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion at Leap 2024 on Monday afternoon and attended the signing ceremony of the equity partnership between Super Nova Solutions and a group of prominent Saudi investors.

Rashid Hakeem, Chief Executive of Supernova Pakistan, said, “This investment is the first of its kind and is a significant development in Pakistan’s investment sector.”

He said that this investment will take us to the global level. It will lead to a strategic presence in the regional IT market and encourage other investors to work on more partnerships, collaborations and joint ventures.’

Rashid Hakeem said that this partnership will enhance Pakistan’s competitiveness, digital transformation and enterprise resource planning implementation capabilities, services and exports.

Saudi investor Mohammad Ghazali highlighted the ‘strategic logic’ behind the move, saying Super Nova will become an important part of the Saudi group’s investment system.

He said: ‘Saudi Arabia is moving rapidly towards its Vision 2030 goals and digital transformation has emerged as a key enabler for industries, government services and social connections.’

According to Mohammad Ghazali, ‘This achievement is fully in line with our vision of promoting digital transformation and innovation. By combining our resources and expertise we are well positioned to help businesses harness the power of ERP to achieve strategic objectives.’
