The 47-year-old doctor from Larissa, who is accused of abusing his three-year-old daughter, was sentenced to pre-trial detention. Earlier, he had been brought before the competent prosecutor of Katerinis.
According to the defense attorney, Yiannis Argyropoulos, the 47-year-old declares his innocence, denying the charges against him.
It is noted that the little girl was examined by a child psychologist and the results are awaited from the pediatric expert, but also from the biological material collected by the authorities from the accused’s car.
The complaint of negligence was made by a citizen who considered the father’s behavior suspicious, saying that he had been with the child in the car for hours, and called “Smile of the Child”.
The investigation, according to police sources, began after a telephone notification from “Smile of the Child”, with the accused being located and arrested inside his home in Stomio, Larissa, where he was with his daughter.
A case was filed against him and he was taken to the Public Prosecutor Plimmeliodiki Katerinis.
As it emerged from the preliminary police investigation, the accused, being in the car with his daughter, who is only 3 years and 4 months old, allegedly performed a sexual act with her.
The defendant appears to have mistreated his daughter on the day the consensual divorce with his wife was finalized.
He returned the minor four hours later than the pre-agreed time specified in the deed of consensual dissolution of marriage and regulation of child custody and maintenance, which is why the mother filed a relevant appeal.
